Grilled chicken with peruvian dressing
1 whole chicken
2 litres of water
½ kg of salt
16 tbs or 1/3 of the jar from the Aderezo para pollo a la brasa (grilled chicken dressing) – available from Mixtura Latina)
To prepare 1 grilled chicken, you must previously submerge it in 2 litres of water and ½ kg of salt for 25-30 minutes .
Afterwards remove the chicken from the water and marinate the entire chicken (external and internal) with the dressing.
Let rest for 15 minutes. Place the chicken in the oven or BBQ for approximately 50-60 minutes, turning the chicken periodically for it to cook fully and evenly.
Serve with potatoes, french fries, quinoa or vegetables. We recommend a spicy sauce with this meal for the chicken and/or fries, Tari cream of chili (pictured below and available thru Mixtura Latina).
NOTE: This dressing is ready to use for grilled chicken. It can also be used to marinate white meats.
NOTE: For one whole chicken use 1/3 of the dressing in the jar, or 16 tablespoons.
